Deputy Chairman and CEO of the Board - Mr. Maximiliano Lo
As the Deputy Chairman and CEO of Similan Group, Mr. Lo oversees the strategic direction and decision for the Company's development and investment activities. He is also the director of WEALTH JOY DEVELOPMENT LIMITED in Hong Kong. Mr. Lo worked as UK Property Management and Investment Manager in CHARMKEY company prior to joining the Group. In recent years, Mr. Lo and his team have been actively developing property and hotels projects, including the newly established residential project Pride Oceania in Macau, the constructing Macau Arcade Plaza and Similan Hotel in Zhuhai.
Mr. Lo actively participates in social and government activities. He is a member of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, member of the Guangdong Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Standing Committee of the Youth Committee of the Guangdong Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Distinguished member of the Zhuhai Municipal Political Consultative Conference, Standing Committee of the Zhuhai Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Director of the Zhuhai Overseas Exchange Association, Deputy Chairman of the Association of Returned Overseas Chinese Macau, Vice President of the Macau Peru Association of Returned Overseas Chinese, Deputy Chairman of the Peru Chamber of Commerce in Macau, Executive Director of the Friendship Association of the Members all Mandates of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Macau and Zhuhai, and Vice President of the Macau General Association of Real Estate.
As a young entrepreneur, Mr. Lo has actively engaged in a wide range of initiatives to support the growth and development of youths and care for the underprivileged. He organized serval exchange activities for Macau teenagers to visit China and foster stronger connection and communication between Macau and China teenagers. He also actively initiated a wide range of charitable and educational projects in Macau and Mainland China, including the sponsor of the new campus of Saint Joseph University of Macau and the donation to community development in Guizhou, China.
Mr. Lo was educated in UK and Switzerland, holds double Bachelor's degrees of Business and Tourism Hotel Management in Switzerland and Business Administration in the US with outstanding academic performance.
