In September 2016, Chairman Lucas Lo met with the Peruvian business group. 

In the meeting, the representatives introduced some of the Peru's products, such as fruits, foods and alcoholic drinks. After listening to their investment intentions, Chairman Lucas Lo also presented the advantages of China’s free trade area, and highlighted the superior geographical location, financial support and investment environment of Xi'an and Hengqin. 

This meeting strengthened the bilateral cooperation between Macau and Peru and it also laid the foundation for the participation in 21st Macau International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF).
